Management of industrial solid waste based on the 3R philosophy (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle). Cia. Müller regularly implements various internal actions in order to maintain a positive balance between the inevitable generation of waste and its environmental impact.

Cia. Müller keeps all Legal Reserve and Permanent Preservation (APP) areas protected by vegetation. Its environmental function is to preserve water resources, landscape, biodiversity and facilitate the migration of fauna and flora, protecting the characteristics of the soil and ensuring the well-being of populations.

This policy aims to recognize some of the main points of impact reduction of the sugarcane culture. Among them, the anticipation of the deadlines for eliminating the burning of sugarcane straw, the protection of forest remnants of springs and riparian forests, the control of erosion and the best soil use practices.
